Transportation

Getting around to and from the airport:

  • Car rentals – all major car rentals can be arranged at the SLC International airport.
  • Uber or Lyft – there is a “Lyft and Uber” pickup sign located outside the baggage claim.  This is the only location you can arrange a pick up due to taxi laws.
  • Shuttles – will accommodate you all the way to Park City (about 45 min drive), such as Park City Transportation, Shuttle Park City, and All Resort Express.

Getting around in Salt Lake City:

  • Uber & Lyft are quickly available in downtown Salt Lake and can take you where you need to go.
  • Visit Salt Lake’s public transportation info page and check out our light-rail system called TRAX’s schedule as well as the bus schedules running within SLC and up to Park City (there is a bus that can transport you to & from the two areas).

Getting around in Park City:

  • Uber & Lyft are also available in Park City, although not as prevalent as in Salt Lake.
  • Park City has a free transit system that is the best way to get around if you don’t have your own vehicle.
  • Cabs & taxi services are always available with Park City Taxi or Fastaxi.
  • Park City shuttles (see above) can provide service to you before and after the wedding events.  These generally require reservations so please plan accordingly.

Getting to our wedding/reception venue:

  • Park City transit system can bring you close to The Colony gate, but you must arrange for a ride, taxi, or shuttle up to the venue from there (see info on getting around in Park City).
  • In order to proceed through the gate, you or your driver will need to indicate you are part of the “Nichols Wedding” for clearance.
  • We encourage you to make plans ahead of time to avoid conflicts last minute.  Most shuttles can hold a party of people, so you can arrange a carpool if desired.
  • If you would like to drive yourself to the venue and plan other transportation after the reception, please collect your vehicle by 10:00 AM the next morning.
